Ellie and Tyler first met in elementary school and stayed friends throughout middle school and the early years of high school, thanks to a group of mutual friends—and especially Tyler's twin sister, Hannah. With a little encouragement from Hannah, their friendship turned into something more during their senior year, and they started dating.

Their relationship continued to grow over the next few years at Kansas State University, where they made countless memories together. After graduation, Tyler took Ellie on a camping trip to her family’s farm, where he asked her to marry him.

They celebrated their engagement with a surprise gathering of family and friends, sharing the news with the people who mean the most to them.

After the engagement, Ellie and Tyler moved to Augusta, Georgia, where they’re settling into a new home and enjoying this next chapter of their lives. They’re excited to return to Manhattan to celebrate with all of their favorite people and begin this new journey together!
